At Yes We Can Youth Clinics, you will work with teenagers and young adults who have chosen to change their lives. Together with a multidisciplinary team, you will help them regain hope, find perspective, and take meaningful steps towards recovery.
For our international clinic, we are looking for a Psychiatrist who combines clinical expertise with compassion, curiosity, and a genuine belief in every young person’s ability to grow and change. Depending on your interests, you may focus on the international intake process, our clinical treatment, or both.
As a Psychiatrist, you play a key role in the treatment journey of our fellows, as we call the young people in our care. You safeguard the quality of care and hold overall clinical responsibility for treatment.
You work alongside fellow psychiatrists, therapists, and nurses, supported by experts-by-experience counsellors and youth coaches. Different backgrounds, one shared goal: everything for our fellows and their families.
As a lead clinician, you are involved in assessment and diagnosis, supervision, professional guidance, and treatment evaluation. You help shape treatment policy and support quality improvement initiatives. Your expertise contributes directly to the continued development of our treatment programmes and organisation.
International intake | Oirschot
At our headquarters in Oirschot, you play a pivotal role in the intake process for international fellows and their families. You conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments and evaluate treatment suitability. Based on your expertise, you advise on the most appropriate care pathway. You work closely with families, referrers, and healthcare professionals from around the world. Your psychiatric judgement forms the foundation for treatment decisions, final recommendations, and aftercare advice.
International clinic | Hilvarenbeek
Our international clinic welcomes young people from a wide range of countries, cultures, and backgrounds. Working in this environment requires cultural sensitivity, curiosity, and the ability to connect with young people and families from all over the world.
Within our international clinic in Hilvarenbeek, you hold final responsibility for the psychiatric treatment of our fellows throughout their recovery journey.
You coordinate psychiatric care, are involved in assessment and diagnosis, provide supervision, and support colleagues in their professional development. You work within a multidisciplinary team of psychologists, therapists, and nurses, supported by expert-by-experience counsellors and youth coaches. Different backgrounds, one shared goal: everything for our fellows and their families.
You believe in recovery and look beyond a diagnosis. You understand complex challenges and enjoy working collaboratively to achieve the best possible outcomes for young people and their families.
You feel comfortable working in an international environment and enjoy connecting with young people and families from diverse cultural backgrounds.
You hold a valid BIG-registration as a Psychiatrist, live in the Netherlands, and communicate fluently in English. Proficiency in Dutch and experience working with adolescents and young adults are an advantage. As this role involves direct collaboration with colleagues, fellows, and families, working on-site is essential.
Most importantly, you bring curiosity, commitment, and a genuine belief that every young person has the potential to grow.
At Yes We Can Youth Clinics, we support teenagers and young adults struggling with mental health issues, addiction and behavioural problems. Our work is rooted in connection, safety and genuine care, and we believe in an approach where young people feel truly seen and heard.
We do not refer to the young people in our clinic as ‘clients’, but as ‘fellows’, reflecting our commitment to keeping the distance between colleagues and young people as small as possible. We work within a multidisciplinary team of therapists and psychiatrists, supported by expert-by-experience counsellors and youth coaches. Together, we dedicate ourselves every day to supporting our fellows and their families.
