DayOne GGZ

DayOne GGZ provides intensive day treatment in Eindhoven for young people and young adults aged 16 to 27 who are struggling with mental health difficulties. Over a period of eight to twelve weeks, they attend a three-day-a-week programme combining individual therapy, group sessions, sports and other activities. Treatment provides a safe space to explore their emotions and experiences. Together with their therapist, they work on reducing symptoms, processing difficult experiences and achieving personal goals that support them in their daily lives.

Parents, carers, partners and other significant people in their lives take part in a separate programme consisting of five half-day sessions. They work on communication, setting healthy boundaries and understanding their own responses, helping to improve both relationships and the situation at home. The programme also provides an opportunity to share experiences and support one another.

At DayOne, psychologists, educational psychologists, group therapists and other supporting professionals work together as a multidisciplinary team. Treatment is tailored to each client’s individual difficulties, needs and goals, with a focus on recovery and on what gives their life meaning.
